Ascension of Mount Tenerife

You will be picked up by private transport from your accommodation in Puerto Natales. We will drive one hour north to Estancia Complejo Paine, located at the base of Mount Tenerife. From this point, we will begin our ascent of the East Face, crossing freshwater rivers and traversing an ancient Lenga forest. Upon reaching the shoulder of the East Face, we will ascend beyond the forest level and navigate the rocky east face of the summit pyramid. Approximately thirty minutes before reaching the summit, we will climb the ridge and take in the view of the Tenerife Glacier on the mountain’s west face. Upon reaching the summit at 1,650 meters, we will enjoy our lunch while appreciating the vastness of this exceptional viewpoint situated between Torres del Paine and the Chacabuco Mountain Range. From this vantage point, we can observe the Southern Ice Field in all its glory, as well as the magnificent Paine Massif from a distinctive perspective. Afterward, we will begin our descent.

Upon descending this mountain, our private transportation will be ready to return you to your accommodations in Puerto Natales.
