Cerro Benitez Peak

Join us for a midday hike to the summit of Cerro Benítez. Following a 30-minute drive, we will arrive at the base of the hill, situated on the shores of Laguna Sofia, a stunning and secluded location near Puerto Natales. From this point, we will commence our hike through Ñirre and Lenga forests. As we ascend, we will begin to enjoy views of Laguna Sofia and Sierra Prat. Along the bordering cliffs, we will seek out birdlife, observing various species that utilize the thermal currents to glide and navigate throughout the province. Weather permitting, we will aim to reach the summit for a breathtaking 360º panorama in the heart of the Ultima Esperanza Province valley.
